The standard units are routinely manufactured in our custom built facility, but our forte remains in the creation of custom units. Usually, the power supply is the last item of a design to be specified, but happily K. E. Developments will be able to accommodate your exact requirements to bring your creation to life, without the need for thundery nights and an abundance of lightning!

Please remember that certain features can add significantly to the cost of your unit. In particular, bear in mind that input/output isolation or very close output tolerances or stabilities will add to the cost of the unit, and are to be avoided if not essential to the design. If possible, use a standard size product from our product range, or alternatively, enquire about modifications to standard units as this will also help to minimise costs.

Modifications:
As mentioned above, modifications to standard converters may be a cheaper alternative to commissioning a completely new specification. If you cannot find the exact converter you need within our standard range, we can modify many standard features, including:

• The unit dimension, if space is at a premium
• The unit casing material
• The embedding resin - we have a choice of fire-retardant resins
• Isolation - either isolated or non isolated or at a higher isolation than that quoted as standard
• The noise/ripple
• Protection against short circuiting
• Regulation
