Jeol Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM)
K.E. Developments continues to develop and expand the range of SEM chambers on which the "IRCS GW" Optical Surveillance Product (OSP) may be used. We are now able to offer this entry level, low priced product with various options such as with LCD 7 inch monitor, 10.4 large LCD monitor or control and viewing from the SEM's PC.  It can now be offered on a range of ports which include the OM (Optical Microscope) and the Rear WDX.
Additional chambers that the IRCS GW fit now include the: JSM840, JSM840A, JXA840, JSM6300, JSM6310, JSM6400 & JXA6400.

Japan - New Dealership
We are very pleased to announce that Mr. T Shamoto of Elminet Corporation, Tokyo will act as our local representative for all end user K.E. Developments products in Japan. Although newly formed as a corporation, they bring a wealth of experience into the marketplace. Elminet already represent Quorumtech with their range of microscopy and sputter coating products. Hitachi S-3700N
In support of the newly launched S-3700N from Hitachi, K.E. Developments announce that we can now offer the well known "IRCS GW" from our range of K.E. Development Optical Surveillance Products (OSP's) specifically for the OM as well as other ports for this microscope. Further development has allowed us to be able to offer this entry level, low priced product with various options such as with LCD 7 inch monitor, 10.4 large LCD monitor or control and viewing from the SEM's PC.  In addition we can also offer whole range of OSP's for this Sem. The new 20/20 camera system. K.E. Developments is proud to announce a new member to our family of Surveillance Products. 20/20. Designed so that the complete camera can be installed virtually anywhere inside the chamber at any distance from the mounting flange.
The difficulty for microscopists is that often there are so many accessories on the chamber that nowhere is available in line with the lens to view the movement of specimens and detectors. Even if there was one available it is blocked by other instruments, with 20/20 there is no longer a problem.
The system comes complete with stand alone control unit and monitor. For some SEMs Windows control may also be available.  This unit can be adapted and supplied to fit any manufacturers chamber as long as there is an access port with a diameter in the region of 15mm available. Microscopy & Microanalysis 2006 - Chicago USA
Want to know how everything fits together? Well, to show how all the camera systems in our surveillance range work , we have put together a see through chamber. This will give all participants at the show the chance to see how different camera set ups can be used to best advantage by microscopists when they are carrying out complex operations in the chamber or just to move costly equipment around whilst in operation without causing expensive damage to fragile equipment.
We will proudly be showing our new Stem Detector which allows both bright and dark field work to be carried out using just one instrument. As with all of our products it can be retrofitted to just about any SEM chamber, which allows the ability for this type of research to be carried out at a fraction of the cost having to buy an expensive solution.
In addition, our well known Centaurus Detector will be on show and will be demonstrated on how it can be switched from CL to BSD work in just a few seconds by changing the tip. The cost of the various tips is a much cheaper option than having two expensive pieces of equipment and allows much more flexibility in the ranges of research that can be carried out. Centaurus can be fitted any new SEM or retrofitted to older SEMs as long as there is a port in line with the final lens.

MICROSCIENCE2006- London
A big thank you to all those people participating in MICROSCIENCE 2006 who came to our stand during the three days of the exhibition. It was great to meet so many people and be able to discuss our product ranges with not only existing users , but find new applications and ideas for several products. It was good to meet KE Development agents from several European countries including Jost Gabler from Gala Instruments in Germany and Mats Erikson from Spectral Solutions in Sweden . MICROSCIENCE2006

We take this opportunity to invite you to come and view the
K.E. Developments stand at MICROSCIENCE2006 at ExCeL in London . We will be exhibiting some of our latest products from across our series of Detectors, Surveillance and Accessory ranges. These include the well known Centaurus  Detector with interchangeable tips both for Backscatter and Cathodoluminescence work, Specimen Current Amplifier and also a range of Detector Diodes for Backscatter Detection.

Personnel will be available to talk about the latest advances in STEM Detection and our range of existing and forthcoming products designed for both bright field and dark field microscopy.

Microscopical Society of Canada Annual Meeting May 2005. Our
Canadian representative Stephen Wood will be attending this event at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario and will be able to discuss with other attendees the K.E.Developments range of products including Backscattered Detectors and Surveillance Equipment.

Upgraded Website.
Following request from our agents and customers the K.E. Developments website has been upgraded to become more customer focused. Additional pages have now been added to show the whole range of products that we manufacture. In addition viewers may download direct the relevant brochure and price list to allow them to review the product in detail.

Exhibitions
In our aim to help as many microscopists as possible K.E. Developments will be represented at more shows than every before, showing our range of detectors, cameras and accessories. Already we are hoping to attend the Symposium of Microscopy in Poznan in Poland and the New Zealand Microscopy conference.
